Short medical history:
pt w known cervical disk hernia ;has had an acute rupture of the intervertebral disc which protrudes in the spinal canal affecting the left C6-C7 roots. Pt has severe rhizopathy in the left shoulder and arm and weakness of the extensors of the hand and fingers. Pt is receiving symptomatic treatment w opioids with subpar effect.
Pt is repatriated for re-evaluation and further treatment
